2019 Call for Prototypes is OPEN!
We proudly present the seventh edition of the SMART TEXTILES SALON - STS2019 in Marrakech (Morocco) on 15 November 2019.
STS2019 will be combined with the International Conference on Intelligent Textiles and Mass Customisation – ITMC2019, which will take place from 13 to 15 November 2019.
You are hereby invited to actively contribute to the success of this interactive exhibition by submitting your prototype.
As in the previous editions, your prototype should fit in the scope of the exhibition, being textile-based or compatible with intelligent textile systems.
Submit your prototype by sending the following documents no later than 15 July 2019 to itmc@esith.ac.ma
- Description of the prototype + pictures
- Information about the author + portrait picture
- Outline on how you will present your prototype
A template for submission can be found below.
All documents must be in English and pictures should be sent in high resolution. All content supplied by the exhibitor will be used in the framework of the event and the supporting projects.
The selected contributions will be notified latest 15 September 2019.
All participants have to register for the STS2019, which involves a participant fee, before 31 September 2019 via online registration.
All prototypes have to be mounted at the venue on 15 November 2019 (from 2 pm till 6 pm). Your participation in a Moroccan gala dinner that same day is included in the registration fee (early bird fee 200 €).
The event will take place in Palm Plaza Hotel, Marrakech, Morocco.
The Smart Textiles Salon is organized by the Higher School of Textile and Clothing industries (ESITH) and Ghent University and supported by the organizing committee of ITMC2019.
